An innovative underwater robotics program

Port City SeaPerch is the regional competition for the International SeaPerch Challenge. This is your teams first step, it is where students can compete using the SeaPerch ROV. Navigating an obstacle course, performing various tasks and maneuvers, all while maintaining a project notebook for a final presentation.
This years regional competition will be a little different than the past years events. Because of the COVID-19 virus we will be hosting two types of events. It will be your teams choice on how you wish to compete.
1. In person competition – your team will have the choice to come to the regional event and compete in person. We will limit the number of student team members to 4 and 2 mentors that can come to the event.
2. Your team can do a virtual event. Teams can find a local pool and conduct there own event. All runs must be recorded and submitted to Port City SeaPerch. Port City will review all of the event and post the winners.

Winning teams from the Port City SeaPerch Stockton competition will be selected to compete in the International SeaPerch Challenge where they will be competing with teams from around the world.
